A comprehensive, self-paced LegisLearn preparation course for Paper 2 of the four-paper LPC Competency-Based Assessment continuing through the March and August 2027 sittings. Paper 2 covers wills and testate succession, intestate succession, administration of deceased estates, liquidation and distribution accounts, estate-duty calculations, trusts and estate planning. The course is built around the practical work a candidate must be able to perform: analyse a will or intestate estate, identify heirs and claims, administer the estate in the correct sequence, draft and check the liquidation and distribution account, perform estate-duty and related calculations, identify trust and estate-planning consequences, and produce the documents and explanations required in practice. Lessons combine legislation, worked examples, calculation drills, continuing estate files, drafting tasks, source-control checks, retrieval practice and scored assessments. Candidates are expected to show both legal reasoning and accurate practical execution. Use the course with the current LPC syllabus and primary legislation, regulations and case law.
