A comprehensive, self-paced LegisLearn preparation course for Paper 4 of the four-paper LPC Competency-Based Assessment continuing through the March and August 2027 sittings. Paper 4 tests the practical accounting knowledge required to keep and supervise a legal practitioner’s books of account. The course develops competence in double-entry bookkeeping, books of prime entry, business and trust accounting, fees and trust journals, transfer and general journals, client and trust-creditor ledgers, trust investments, bank reconciliations, correspondent transactions, collection commission, VAT treatment, financial controls, risk management and audit-oriented file checking. Candidates work through transaction classification, ledger posting, reconciliation exercises, error correction, integrated matter files and scored calculation assessments. The emphasis is on understanding why an entry belongs where it does and being able to reconstruct the accounting trail under examination conditions.
